Welcome to Carved & Crafted by Wingate Eats! Our mission is to provide you with exceptional quality, exceptional service and a creative cutting-edge culinary experience.


There are both big decisions and little details to attend to as you prepare for your upcoming catered event. Let Carved & Crafted by Wingate Eats guide you, from designing the perfect menu to personalizing all the details of your unique gathering. Our catering services can accommodate any size, theme, or individual requirements, in virtually any location – on or off campus.


We’ll work with you to create a custom gathering menu inspired by your unique needs that will leave a lasting impression on your guests. All menus will follow the Wingate Eats culinary philosophy; authentic recipes using the freshest, seasonal ingredients.


Full service, buffet, small plates and international inspired specialty stations: all served in your style! And because you’ve entrusted your event to Wingate Eats, the food will be unmatched, the service spectacular, and the event will be unforgettable!

Policies & Procedures

The Ordering Process: To ensure optimal selection and the best possible service we kindly ask that events be booked at least 3 business days in advance. We understand events arise unexpectedly and we will do our best to accommodate your needs. Late orders will be accommodated to the best of our abilities on a case by case basis including rush charges as follows: 24-48 Hours prior 25% of the food & beverage bill, and less than 24 Hours prior 50% of the food & beverage bill. We will do our best to accommodate requests less than 24 hours; however, substitutions may be necessary.


Delivery Fee: All campus deliveries will be subject to a $3 delivery fee. For deliveries off campus, a $25.00 charge will incur to cover transporting costs. All food items picked up at WT Harris are available at no additional charge between 8am - 5pm, Monday - Friday.


It is the guest’s responsibility to ensure facilities and rooms are unlocked for set-up, delivery, and/or clean-up services. Should a room be unavailable when catering services arrive, a return trip will result in an additional $25.00 charge on your bill. Please contact reservations to ensure that your event is scheduled and the appropriate equipment is reserved.


Cancellations: To avoid the possibility of food waste on certain specialty items, we kindly request that cancellations be made 3 business days prior to the event date. Cancellations made less than three business days prior to the event date will be billed 50% of the total bill. Catered events cancelled less than two business days prior to the event date will be billed for 75% of the total bill. Extreme and inclement weather cancellations are excluded. This rule also applies for any circumstances to which the University closes campus operations due to safety or security reasons.


Flower, Linen, and China

Flowers: We will be glad to order special floral arrangements or decorative requests for an additional fee.


Linen service: Tablecloths will be provided for all food and beverage tables set up by the Catering Department. Tablecloths for non-food service purposes will be an additional change and requests must be made in advance. These would include any check in or registration tables, literature tables, and stage tables. Please call the main office for specialty linen.


The charges for standard are as follows:

85” Square Tablecloth $4.50/each

120" White Round Floor length $12.50/each

*Linen that is not reserved in advance , may not be fulfilled and will be subject to same day pricing.

Service-ware and China: We provide high quality single use paper products. All single use service-ware will be furnished with all items purchased. All formal seated receptions and breaks requiring china will be an additional $2.50 per person.


Event Staffing

Service Options: For all served meals and served buffets please use the following formula to calculate the additional cost of the function:

For every 25 guests, add 1 server.

Labor is charged at $20.00 per hour, per server (2 hour minimum).

Bartending services are charged at $100.00, per bartender (1 hour minimum).


Billing Procedure & Room Reservations

A form of payment, either an 8 digit cost center budget code. or credit card payment is requested 3 business days prior to the event date. For meeting room reservations and booking of non-food related equipment please visit, Wingate University MyGate portal and navigate to the Event Management System (EMS). This system will assist in room reservation, room sets, and room configuration, audio visual, and other general information.
